Update: 30 June 2008
Firefox v3 Portable now works with adblock (not the plus one) , no script
and Littlefox theme . Its now useable.
For the anime fans , its Firefox-tan :

I got Firefox v3 Portable (Windows) today (19-June-2008)
I wasnt impressed , it seems to use the same ram + more of portable launcher
(Which stays in ram in the background now with v3)
and it does NOT work with adblock ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10 )
Yes it works with Adblock noob plus but I dont like its crap interface .
I will be sticking with Firefox v2 until adblock works with v3
or theirs a real reason to keep upgrading software.
I am all for upgrading software if it really honestly adds more value
and real reason behind it but if your been seeing whats happening
with MS Windows , upgrading it seems to be a waste of cash/time/effort.
One that side note , if your still using Windows 2000 PRO or XP
stay with it . Dont be in a hurry to downgrade to Vista (WinMEv2)
or install SP3 (XP) and if your still using 2k (keep it)

I Installed Ubuntu EEE Linux on my Asus EEE
it works with the SD 4 gig Drive thats in the Laptop .
It doesnt seem to work well with the battery level ,
I found a tweek on the internet to disable that upon start up.
Tip for anyone installing Ubuntu EEE , REMEMBER your
password and username . When it first starts it bugs
you for them unlike Asus Custom Xandros that auto
logs you into it .
Another bad thing I found is PRINT SCREEN doesnt
work like the Asus Custom Xandros Linux install
with it , it would pop up a program asking you to
take a screen shot .
Windows takes a snap shot , ohh no
it doesnt work in this Ubuntu Linux
you have to launch and INSTALL the ksnapshot
tool yourself no printscreen button 4 u .
I am having trouble as Bigponds Free traffic
mirror is incompete and missing files
compared to other Ubuntu Deb update servers
Pic here shows the drama , linux keeps wanting
to add other mirrors since Bigpond is holding back
files in its mirror .
Flatout is a series of arcade racing games for PC and consoles
It does not support cross platform play.
Flatout 1 came out on PC with starforce
Flatout 2 came out on PC with securom for AU/EURO and USA had starforce
Flatout 2 was also on PS2 and might of been of been on xbox1
Flatout 2 Ultimate Carnage is Flatout 2 for PC and PS2 PORTED for the
xbox2 (360) now its going to be PORTED BACK to PC
(Ohh but its a brand new game really *COUGH*)
Features that Flatout 2 were missing:
Horn on PC
Proper SADS for PC
Team modes in Multiplayer on PC
Spilt Screen play on PC
Cross platform play
Heres the new one:
Empire Interactive announces 11 July 2008 as the when FlatOut Ultimate Carnage will reach Windows (PC)
(cough USA date)
Empire Interactive has also announced that FlatOut Ultimate Carnage will be compatible with the Microsoft Xbox 360® Controller for Windows. (Is this another game that will limited to ONE controller only)
FlatOut Ultimate Carnage fully embraces Games for Windows — LIVE® ® functionality, offering a wide variety of online modes, including the Head On mode, where racers have to get to the end of the track, turn around and avoid their oncoming opponents on the return leg!
(Limiting Windows 2000 users from playing ? Flatout 2 worked in Windows 2000 pro)

Today (19-June-2008) I bought an Linksys SLM2008 8 Port gigabit switch
from Umart ( www.umart.com.au ) .
I am impressed with it , costing AU$135.00 (US$128) (Yen$13775.60)
it seems to be ultra quite , only using 6 watts , no noisy fan and
with a test transfer it copies over at the same speed as the old Minatar .

A lot of people that know me in real life and have meet me would of seen
my old 8 and 5 port Minatar . What happened to them .
The 5 port is playing up and the 8 port was RUINED at a really ULTRA
BAD lan I attended called 'Gateway LAN (http://www.gatewaylans.com)
Due to having to move the PC's several times at the lan , having a
person put in cables so hard it wouldnt come out and the POWER
spike on the powerboard with new ppl pluging stuff in it KILLED
my switch . Did the admins even applogised . NOPE
Did they offer to pay to get it fixed or a new one . NOPE
Then after 2 hrs of moving my pc around , trying different lan
leads (power spike killed a lead aswell) and FINALY
getting up and running which took 2 HOURS .
I get BOOTED and BANNED from the event by some
guy that turned up later in the event which apprently
was the top guy to it .
Getting kicked out of a lan is one thing but to
stay their for 2 hrs , help them setup tables
and chairs and then get asked 5 mins after I
finaly got up and running was DAMM BLOODY
rude and anoying . The reason they gave was
other admins at a lan I havent been to it 4-5 yrs
bitched to these new lan admins and I had questionable
material on my PC .
Tip -
* Never take your gigabit switch to a Public
lan party
* Never spend the time to help
the admins for free to help setup chairs/tables
* Never goto a LAN that is run by Church people
(Ive been to lans at church's with admins NOT being church people
they are GREAT)
True Blood - New USA TV show (June 2008)
Show Summary:
Based on the popular ‘Southern Vampire,’ book series by Charlaine
Harris, “True Blood” follows the adventures of a small-town cocktail
waitress Sookie Stackhouse (who all her life was an outsider due to her
gift/curse of being a telepath) and how her life is turned upside down
when a member of the undead (the vampire race ‘came out of the coffin’
several years earlier) walks into her life one fateful night.
Episode Plot: Strange Love
One random night while Sookie is working the night shift at her local
bar, a mysterious man walks in. Immediately she knows something is
different about him, because she cannot get any sort of mental reading
off him. But when he orders blood, Sookie realizes that she has finally
met her first vampire.
Anna Paguin is the main character in the show , shes the Rogue girl in Xmen
that you couldnt touch (BTW shes really cute)

Asus EEEPC4G White Linux now costs AU$359 at Umart (Aust) - http://umart.com.au
Good to see price drop before Asus EEE 901 (The one with Atom CPU and 10")
screen comes out .
If anyone is looking for a cheap new PC just to Surf/office suite/email this would be ideal
for them , hook up a au$279 22" screen to it , cheapie keyboard and mouse
and they have a cheap computer that can be restored back to factory default
if they stuff it up
