Quote from slashdot :
"NASA says its Phoenix lander on the surface of Mars has gone silent
and is almost certainly dead. Engineers have not heard from the craft
since Sunday 2 November when it made a brief communication with Earth.
Phoenix, which landed on the planet's northern plains in May, had been
struggling in the increasing cold and dark of an advancing winter. The
US space agency says it will continue to try to contact the craft but
does not expect to hear from it."

So whats needed for a Human Made Manned Space Craft :
A generation ship might be the best first since as long as a few basic needs are handled
its like a moving planet , size of the ship or ships shouldn't be a problem in space .
Anti Gravity - Human Bodies need Earth Gravity , they have already seen the bad effects being in space for long periods of time without Artificial Earth Type Gravity
Shields - Solar Radiation, Comic Rays , Solar Flares and crap floating in space , rocks , dust , etc
Water and Air for the Human Crew (maybe use the same system that subs use under water)
Food - For long term maybe a deck just for farming/hydroponics
Propulsion - We are no were near FLT or Hyperspace Drives yet , so its probly going to be
Sub light and thruster powered by something with grunt and maybe solar powered thruster
Solar powered semi sub light drive just in case the main system dies in the arse .
If a ship is using a Ion Drive (current existing techonolgy ) then it will keep on getting faster and faster
but the problem is when you need to SLOW DOWN in a hurry , it cant you have to plan a stopping phase
The coolest ship Ive seen is the Asguard's Jack Oniel ship from Stargate SG1 TV show

View of the Moon from Sydney, Australia, Earth
28 August 2007, 9.54pm (GTM+10)
Lunar eclipses happen when the moon moves into the Earth’s shadow.
In a
total lunar eclipse, the moon and earth are lined up so that the whole
of the moon is in shadow for a while. If they’re not completely
aligned,
only a part of the moon will end up shaded (a partial eclipse).

Below is a cool map of Australia , what sparked my interest in a map of Aussieland is a thread
on planetc&c.com forums about the CC3 game has an Australian part in the single player
but locations in AUSTRALIA is all wrongly placed .
What ya think , is this a cool map or what !!!
